Kevin Herrmann - Partner - President
Prior to forming Tascosa, Kevin was a founding member for Carrera Energy and Tascosa Exploration. Additional experience includes working 14 years internationally in Gabon, Africa and Bangkok, Thailand in roles of Finance Manager and later as Country Manager for Pogo Producing's Thailand operation. Kevin received a BBA from Texas Tech in 1985. Fish fear him.

David Beathard - Partner - Executive VP
Prior to joining Tascosa at inception in early 2019, David Beathard’s experience includes two years as Chief Technical Officer at TPH & Company, five years as VP of Business Development at Linn Energy, two years engineering with The Strickland Group and twenty-five years with Pogo Producing Company where he was Senior VP of Engineering. David graduated from Texas A&M in 1982 with a BS in Petroleum Engineering.
William "Bill" Hardie - Partner - Exploration Manager
Bill has 30 years of industry experience in the Permian Basin, Anadarko Basin, and the Ouachita/Arkoma Basin of Oklahoma. His work experience has included exploration and development assignments that involved 3D seismic acquisition and interpretation, reservoir characterization, and development optimization.
Bill’s career includes 7 years working for Conoco and 11 years with Pogo Producing Company. In late 2007, he joined OGX Resources as Exploration Manager, where he began pursuing unconventional and horizontal drilling plays in Southeast New Mexico and West Texas. Partnered with Encap Investments, OGX executed asset sales totaling $750mm from $130mm in commitments between 2007 and 2018. In 2015, OGX joint ventured with Santa Elena Minerals to acquire over 50,000 net mineral acres in the Midland and Delaware Basins.
Geoff Streitel – Geoscience Advisor
Geoff has 28 years of geoscience experience in the upstream petroleum industry covering multiple basins and play types. He has worked in senior technical roles for a number of small and mid-size oil and gas companies in Canada and the US including Arch Petroleum, Pogo Producing Company, Beryl Oil & Gas and Fairways Exploration.
Geoff has been a consultant since 2013 and his expertise lies in petrophysical analysis, reservoir characterization and attribute mapping as inputs to predictive productivity models and field development plans. Geoff graduated with an Honors Degree in Geology from the University of Saskatchewan, Canada in 1993 and is a professional member of EGBC (Engineers and Geoscientists BC – P.Geo), AAPG, HGS and RMAG.
Richard Wright - Operations Viceroy
Operations Advisor with over 50 years of oil and gas experience both onshore and offshore USA. Before getting Tascosa started, Richard did stints as Operation Manager for Carrera Energy and Caza Petroleum. Prior to that Richard served as the Operations Manager for Pogo Producings Permian and Mid-Con divisions overseeing extensive production operations as well as up to 20 rig drilling programs. Prior to Pogo Producing, Richard broke into the oilfield working for Texaco Exploration and Production.
Alyssa McNear, P.E. - Operations Manager
Alyssa McNear has 10 years of experience in the upstream oil and gas industry, with a focus in operations, production, and reservoir engineering. She began working for Tascosa Energy Partners at its inception and was previously the Engineering Manager for Carrera Energy. Prior to working in the private equity space, she was employed by Chevron in Midland, TX for 5 years. There she held multiple reservoir and production engineering roles, including secondary recovery fields and unconventional reservoirs. She has a Bachelor of Science from the Colorado School of Mines in Petroleum Engineering and holds a Professional Engineering License in the State of Colorado.
Helder Alvarez - Geologist
Helder has been in the oil and gas industry for 10 years as a Geologist. He began his career in the Anadarko Basin with Newfield assessing and developing the STACK play as it kicked off. From there he joined Carrera Energy working the Anadarko and Permian Basins. Helder joined Tascosa Energy Partners from its inception in 2018. Helder graduated with a Master of Science in Geology degree from Kansas State University.
Kelly Hardy - Land Manager
Prior to becoming the Land Manager for Tascosa, Kelly worked as a Landman for Carrera Energy and Cisco Energy. Prior to breaking into the oil industry, Kelly began her career in the medical field. Kelly has a degree in General Studies from Texas Tech University.
Brian Kirkland - Field Supervisor
Brian has 25 years of experience in oilfield operations. Prior to helping with the start up of Tascosa, Brian worked as Field Manager for both Carrera Energy and Limestone Exploration handling all production, completion, and facilities activities. Prior to this, Brian was the Workover Specialist for XTO Energy in their Permian operations. Brian began his career working varios workover operations in the Anadarko basin.
Laci Ritchey - Controller
Laci has been in the oil and gas industry for 10 years. She worked on the oilfield service side before joining Carrera Energy and ultimately Tascosa Energy Partners in 2018. Prior to joining TEP, she spent the majority of her career with Globe Energy Services and worked herself up from Staff Accountant to Controller. She then went on to serve as Controller for Impact Chemical Technologies. Laci graduated from Angelo State University with a Master of Professional Accountancy degree.
